Terms of service.

BOOKING INFORMATION:

We ask that clients arrive at least ten minutes before their appointment to park, complete any necessary registration documentation and to avoid running into their appointment time. Should you arrive later than 15 minutes and your appointment cannot be accommodated, we may need to reduce your treatment time or alternatively reschedule.

Please book an appointment online. If you have any queries and aren’t sure what treatment is right for you, you are welcome to phone or email us.

BOOKING DEPOSITS:

To secure your appointment, a non-refundable booking deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be deducted from your treatment bill on the day of your appointment. If you are unable to attend or arrive late, resulting in the need to reschedule, the deposit will not be refunded or transferred to a future booking. However, if you are deemed unsuitable for the treatment upon consultation, your deposit will be transferred as credit towards another service or product.

This policy helps ensure that our schedule runs smoothly and allows us to offer appointments to other clients who may be waiting. We understand that circumstances can arise, but as a small business, missed appointments or late arrivals significantly impact our ability to provide the best service to all clients. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Payment is due in full at the time of your appointment. If payment is not made on the day, and no prior arrangement or payment plan has been agreed upon, the payment card on file will be charged for the outstanding balance.

When making a booking and paying a deposit, you may choose to securely store a payment card on file. You will be notified if this card is being charged for any reason other than the initial deposit - such as for a missed or outstanding payment, late cancellation, or no-show - as per our booking terms.

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLING AND NO-SHOWS:

We are committed to assisting you achieving your ultimate skin goals and we love it when you are too! For us to achieve this, attending your scheduled appointment(s) are paramount. We understand though that things come up or life events occur and you may not be able to always make these. Therefore, MiSkin has a 24hour cancellation policy in place and we kindly ask that should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you do so providing a minimum of 24hours notice to ensure that an appointment can be given to someone else who is waiting or wanting an appointment time that you no longer want.

Should you cancel within 24hours of your appointment or not attend a confirmed appointment, MiSkin reserves the right to charge either a cancellation fee of $50 or take your booking deposit.

Parking:

There is designated and complimentary parking directly outside Parnell Natural Health. Should this be full, there is street parking down the adjacent road that is free to park for up to 2 hours.

return POLICY:

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours, however, please allow extra delivery time for weekends and public holidays. Our shipping rate is $10 per order and our delivery is Monday to Friday with NZ Post. PO boxes are unable to be used for delivery addresses.

For returns, we want you to be happy with your purchase and ask that you choose carefully as we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Should you be dissatisfied with your order, please contact info@miskin.co.nz to arrange an exchange. You can return the product in its original condition within 14 days of purchase to exchange for another item. Products must be unopened and unused to be returned to us.

If the product is faulty or defective, we will happily arrange a replacement to be sent to you. Please send a photo of the item to our email above to arrange. Please note, MiSkin is not responsible for lost return packages to us.

COURIER SERVICE:

For online orders or product delivery product order requests, we offer a nation-wide courier delivery service. Packing and delivery of items is $10 delivered anywhere in NZ.

Regarding product purchases, you are welcome to purchase these online for a delivery fee of $10, or from the clinic at no charge either at your appointment or popping by - whichever you prefer.

Gift Card terms and conditions

MiSkin Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are redeemable on any treatment services. Gift vouchers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

Any vouchers that have been damaged, or had the value altered or informally amended, may void the voucher. MiSkin Aesthetics is not liable for any vouchers that may be damaged, lost or stolen.

Prices can change at any time. Whilst we will endeavour to let you know in advance, this cannot be guaranteed. All treatments, products and offers are subject to availability.

It is important that you provide accurate medical information when asked. MiSkin Aesthetics Limited is not responsible or liable for any damage caused due to withheld information, or the failure to follow the instructions provided by our staff.

PRIVACY POLICY:

You, our clients, are very important to us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and respect the trust you place in us when providing us with your personal information. We will not sell or give any information that personally identifies you to any other third-party.

MiSkin Health Plans

MiSkin offers personalised treatment programmes known as MiSkin Health Plans. MiSkin Health Plans are designed to support consistent skin care and long term skin health through personalised treatment planning.

Eligibility

MiSkin Health Plans are typically introduced once a client has begun their treatment journey and their skin has reached a stable stage. This is usually after an initial treatment period of approximately three months.

If the skin barrier is impaired or a client is still in the early stages of treatment, MiSkin may recommend continuing with restorative treatments before establishing a MiSkin Health Plan. This ensures that an appropriate treatment programme can be designed.

Personalised Treatment Plans

Each MiSkin Health Plan is tailored to the individual client’s skin needs and treatment goals.

MiSkin Health Plans may include any services offered by MiSkin depending on suitability. This may include personalised facials, advanced treatments such as chemical peels or microneedling, and other services recommended as part of the client’s ongoing skin programme.

Treatment recommendations may change throughout the duration of a MiSkin Health Plan as the skin evolves.

MiSkin may adjust treatment recommendations during the course of a MiSkin Health Plan to ensure treatments remain appropriate for the client’s skin and clinical needs.

Membership Duration

MiSkin Health Plans are typically structured as six month commitments.

In some cases, twelve month MiSkin Health Plans may be arranged for longer term treatment programmes where appropriate.

Payments

Payments for MiSkin Health Plans are securely processed through the aglow membership platform.

By joining a MiSkin Health Plan, clients authorise recurring payments through the aglow platform using their nominated payment method.

Payment schedules may be fortnightly or monthly, depending on the arrangement selected.

Clients are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain accurate and up to date.

Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment for a MiSkin Health Plan fails, the aglow platform will notify the client and retry the payment.

Membership benefits may be paused until the outstanding payment has been successfully resolved.

Failure to make payments does not cancel a MiSkin Health Plan. Clients remain responsible for completing all payments associated with their MiSkin Health Plan commitment.

Persistent failed payments may result in suspension of membership benefits and recovery of the outstanding balance.

Member Benefits

Clients participating in a MiSkin Health Plan receive access to exclusive benefits during their active plan. These may include treatment savings, skincare discounts, priority booking access and invitations to selected MiSkin events.

Benefits may be updated from time to time.

Use of Membership

Contributions made under a MiSkin Health Plan may be used towards treatments and skincare at MiSkin as recommended by the therapist as part of the client’s treatment programme.

MiSkin Health Plans are non transferable and may only be used by the registered client.

Unused Treatments

Treatments or benefits included within a MiSkin Health Plan do not hold cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred.

Clients are responsible for scheduling and attending their treatments within the duration of their MiSkin Health Plan.

Appointment Policies

All appointments booked under a MiSkin Health Plan remain subject to MiSkin’s standard booking, cancellation and late arrival policies as outlined in these Terms of Service.

Cancellation

MiSkin Health Plans are structured as six month commitments.

If a MiSkin Health Plan is cancelled within the six month commitment period, 30 percent of the remaining balance will be payable.

Stopping or failing to make payments does not cancel a MiSkin Health Plan and does not release the client from their financial commitment.

Cancellation requests must be submitted directly to MiSkin.

Clinical Suitability

All treatments provided under a MiSkin Health Plan remain subject to professional assessment and clinical suitability.

MiSkin reserves the right to modify or decline treatments where necessary to ensure appropriate skin care and client safety.

Aglow Platform

MiSkin Health Plans are administered through the aglow membership platform, which manages membership payments and account administration.

While aglow manages payment processing and membership administration, MiSkin remains responsible for the delivery of all treatments and services associated with MiSkin Health Plans.

Clients joining a MiSkin Health Plan may also be subject to the aglow Member Agreement, which governs the use of the aglow platform and payment processing.

Changes to Terms

MiSkin reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will always be available on the MiSkin website.
